This Easter holidays, Archaeodiscovery ran 3 archaeology workshops for children aged 7-12 yrs at the beautiful and historic site of Hale Farm.
Participants worked with experienced, professional archaeologists: DIGGING, MAKING and DOING.
The dig school was an in archaeology, where children experimented with a range of archaeological techniques. Emphasis was given to exploring ideas practically, using inspiring materials and looking at the processes of contemporary archaeologists working today.

The focus of dig school was on working together, inspiring playfulness and inquisitiveness, through which children can make friends, learn new skills and grow in confidence.
